    How long will you love delusions and seek false gods^[a]?^[b](C)

¹³ so that you vent your rage^(A) against God
    and pour out such words^(B) from your mouth?^(C)

⁹ Lord, give victory to the king!
    Answer us^(A) when we call!

⁸     he will swallow up death^(A) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears^(B)
    from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace^(C)
    from all the earth.
